This page explains how billing works when you cancel a subscription, remove a student, or a payment fails. It should be read together with our Terms of Service.
Every new account starts with a 14-day free trial. No card is required to sign up, and you are not charged during the trial.
You can cancel anytime from Billing → Manage Billing. Cancelling takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep access through the period you've already paid for, and are not charged again after that. We do not provide refunds for the unused portion of a current billing period.
Removing a student profile from an active subscription reduces your recurring price starting at your next billing period. As with cancellation, we do not refund the removed student's portion of the period already paid for.
Adding a student to an existing subscription charges a prorated amount immediately, covering that student for the rest of your current billing period. We show you the exact amount before charging you, and nothing is charged until you confirm.
Permanently deleting your account immediately cancels any active subscription — this is different from the cancel-at-period-end behaviour above, since deleting your account also deletes the student profiles and data the remaining period would apply to. We do not refund the unused portion of the current billing period in this case either.
If a renewal payment fails, your access is not extended and may lapse until payment succeeds. You can update your payment method at any time from Billing → Manage Billing.
If you believe you were charged in error — for example, due to a technical fault on our end — contact us at support@mocky.zohodesk.com and we'll review it. Nothing in this policy limits any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.
